Comparing Internet Browsers

Today I would like to compare what are widely considered the top three internet browsers available today; Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer.  I will be analyzing their speed, memory capability, support system and more.

Personally, I would rate Mozilla Firefox as the top browser because of it’s extremely fast start-up speed and superior support system.  The customization possibilities allow the user to customize settings and appearance easily.  This has helped Firefox become the leading browser today.  It is also ranked number one in security and privacy according to pcmag.com.

For second place, I would have to go with Google Chrome.  The minimalist design help make it easy to navigate and use which has attracted many people to use this browser.  Chrome is the leadind HTML5 support as well as a superior JavaScript speed and performance makes it better at interactive media.  The downside is that the privacy and security performance is below average.

Internet Explorer brings up the rear in this comparison because it is overall slower and has worse support than the competition.  It has drastically improved it’s speed and HTML5 compatability over the last year.  It still does not support WebRTC however.  Its unique features include tab-pinning and leading hardware acceleration.  The most recent version has vastly improved it’s tracking protection feature.
